If you love the great outdoors, just like me, then you must know the hassle and headache of bringing along your gear and worrying whether they are safe from the rain or whether that recent 5meter drop your backpack suffered did not damage your DSLR inside. To help you out, Sony recently introduced its latest Handycam for the adventure lovers out there, the HDR-GWP88V.

Waterproof up to 33ft, this Handycam is also freezeproof, shockproof and dustproof, making it virtually indestructible. Add up to that is the built-in projector onto the device, which means you can instantly watch videos you just took minutes ago anywhere and anytime. Now, that’s just cool!

The HDR-GWP88V packs a 20.4MP CMOS sensor with an aperture of f/1.8 to f/3.4. The projector is located opposite the 3inch, LCD touchscreen display. It is capable of throwing images between 1.6feet to 6feet without any quality degradation. The Handycam features a built-in 16GB internal storage alongside a microSD expansion slot with 64GB maximum capacity.

The Sony HDR-GWP88V is already available for an SRP of P34,999. It has two color options: white and black, and comes with a Sony waterproof case, wide-angle lens converter, extra battery and a 16GB microSD card as freebies for every purchase.
