Ladies and gentlemen, meet the G63 AMG 6×6, the world’s newest off-road luxury bad boy. With a 5.50-liter, twin turbo V8 packing 536bhp and a seven-speed transmission, this desert beast is able to haul its 8,300lb body (with capacity for four passengers) to 60mph in just around six seconds. Inside, one is treated with quilted white leather seats and a carbon fiber accented dashboard, among other luxuries.

As for the six wheels, AMG says it splits the torque 30/40/30 among the axles from front to rear for maximum traction, with locking differentials for all 37-inch wheels. The G63, with its 52-degree approach angle, is able to climb almost anything short of a sheer cliff face. For desert travels, the tires can be inflated and deflated from a panel in the cabin.

According to Autoweek, Mercedes will be building these beasts starting this October with a price tag of around $47,000.
